WORDS FROM FRIENDS
The One Who Sings is a true South African icon. A story-teller, a thought leader, a creative pioneer, an entrepreneur, a song-writer and (of course) a singer. An African treasure, The One Who Sings has stood on some of the biggest stages around the world, alongside some of the most powerful personalities on the planet.
And so, it was an extraordinary privilege to host The One Who Sings on the Heavy Chef stage, hearing her amazing story, listening to The One Who Sings weave her iconic back catalogue, as well scintillating new songs, into the fabric of her own story, a parable for the South African story at large.
